Jennifer Haywood (‘10 journalism and mass communication, MA ‘14 interior design) expanded her family with the addition of a baby boy, Francis Rogelio, born in September 2021.

Carly Schieffer ('06 music education) and her husband welcomed a baby girl, Phoebe Anne, on Nov. 28, 2020. Phoebe Anne has two older siblings, Silas and Mary Grace.

Dr. Jeffrey Fletcher and his wife, Jessica, welcomed a daughter, Samantha Marie, on February 16, 2018.

Welcomed a son, Christopher Hugh Meeks, Jr. on August 16, 2016

John Leahy ('87 civil engr) of Springfield, Va., and his wife, Mary, welcomed their first grandchild, Aaron Zak of Omaha, Neb., in February 2016.

Amy and I would like to announce the newest future Cyclone, Elizabeth Jayne Yayang Gregory. Libby is 22 months old and was born in Guiyang, China. We are so thankful that God has blessed us with her.

Carly Schieffer and her husband, Michael, welcomed a son, Silas Vernon Schieffer, July 8, 2016. He weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long.

Jeffrey Fletcher and his wife, Jessica, welcomed a son, William, on April 3, 2015.

Tara (BS Psych '01) and Michael Whitmire are the proud parents of a daughter, Brodie Kay Whitmire. She was born on August 4, 2015. She weighed 7 lb 10.5 oz and was 21 inches long.

Dayton Thomas Bishop was born April 8 of this year and we're all doing great!

Welcomed a son, Jackson, on July 28, 2013

We welcomed the birth of our son, Barrett Chase Anderson, on 08/14/2013.

We are proud to announce the birth of our 5th child. Astrid Creedence Pottratz was born March 5, 2012 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She was 7lbs. 5.6oz. and 19in. long. She is welcomed by her brothers Atticus (6), Axel (5), Magnus (4), and Lars(2). Astrid attended her first Veishea parade this year.

Scott Charles Pieper became the newest Cyclone fan on May 24, 2012. He weighed 9 lbs 9 oz and was 21 inches long.

William Doughtery Metz born Sept. 10, 2010, 7 lbs. 1oz.

Samantha Lee Pieper became the newest Cyclone fan on January 29, 2010. She weighed 9 lbs 10 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long.

Brad (BSCE 97, MSCE 99) and Jennifer (Guggisberg - BS MIS/TrLog 99) Estochen welcomed daughter, Brooke Elizabeth, in September 2009. Proud big sisters are Kylie and Neela.

We welcomed our newest little Cyclone, Elise Elizabeth Uhl, on Thursday, November 19th at 8:23 am. She weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 21 inches long.

Kadence Marie Streck was born on Monday September 14, 2009 at 12:44 in the afternoon at St Lukes Hospital in Sioux City, IA. She weighed 6 lbs 13 ounces and measured 18 inches long. She was welcomed home by her Dad and Mom, Grant and Brianne Streck of Moville, IA

Sydney Marie Zupke was born August 5, 2009. Proud parents are Ryan & Ann Zupke. She joins big brothers Nathan & Colton.

Shawn Blaesing-Thompson (ISU'97), Joseph Thompson (UNL'98) and big sister Abigail welcomed Joshua Joseph to our family in March 2009. He is a happy healthy little guy and a joy to have in our family. The family lives in Ames Iowa after being in Washington state for ten year until 2008.

Chad Mittelstadt ('97 mech engr) and wife Julie (Shelton) Mittelstadt ('98 land arch) along with big sister Sophie proudly announce the arrival of Nicholas Raymond on December 31, 2008. Grandparents are Raymond ('49 engr) and Marilyn Mittelstadt and Dane ('68 arch) and Christina (Craychee) Shelton ('66 mod lang). The Mittelstadt's live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Kara McWhirter Waugh BS'95 and Barry G. Waugh of Urbandale welcomed the arrival of their son, Kerrick James Waugh, on July 7, 2009.
